First Tee

Thank you for committing to child safety at First Tee by starting your training process.  SafeSport Training is required annually. 

You will be able to access the online course at the end of this registration.

Please scroll to the bottom of this page to read all instructions regarding this registration.

If you do need to submit a registration for your next SafeSport training, please scroll to the bottom and click "CONTINUE" and proceed with the registration.

If you do not see the "CONTINUE" button at the bottom of this page, then log into your SportsEngine account with the email used to originally create it and then you should see the "CONTINUE" button to proceed with the registration. 

After submitting the registration, you would then see the next assigned SafeSport training in your SportsEngine profile. 

If you registered in 2023 for a background screen or Safe Sport training with First Tee, please ensure you are using the email address used for the SportsEngine account created or used in 2023.
 
Please do not set up another SportsEngine account with a new email address if you already have one from 2023. If you create another SportsEngine account this will not assign the correct Safe Sport training and will delay access to the next training. 
 
If you are unsure which email address was used in 2023, please reach out to SportsEngine support at support@sportsengine.com.

This registration is to renew or finish completing your SafeSport Certificate.

 In order to complete the SafeSport training please reference your SportsEngine account here to check the Expiration Date of your SafeSport Certificate.  

Training is valid for an entire year, please ensure you are within 180 days of your expiration date to complete your next training.

Each year you participate with First Tee you should only be submitting ONE safety registration based on your current expiration date of the background screen and annual SafeSport training.

Your chapter should have provided the available 2024 links and before proceeding, please check your SportsEngine profile to view the previous year's registration with NCSI/SportsEngine. In 2023, if you completed the required background screen and SafeSport training, then you will only need to register for SafeSport training. If you only completed SafeSport training, then you will need to register for background screen and SafeSport training. 

You can also verify with your Chapter admin who has access to the previous year's screening and training data.

If you are brand new to First Tee, then proceed with the 2024 registration that is a background screen and SafeSport training. By going through the registration you will set up a SportsEngine profile and then can reference this for future registrations. 

SportsEngine/NCSI has a built-in integration with SafeSport that ties into your SportsEngine profile and provides the required online training to be done annually. To ensure you receive access and complete your annual SafeSport training, you will be required to submit a registration that will connect with SafeSport and provide your next training within your SportsEngine profile. 

The registration you submit for your SafeSport training depends if you are up for renewal of a background screen which is required every two years or only need to request your annual SafeSport training.
